Before Dwayne Johnson
fully shed his WWF/WWE moniker, and long before he was the highest paid
actor in Hollywood, The Rock had a guest part on 'Star Trek: Voyager' as
an unnamed fighter in a 1999 episode titled 'Tsunkatse'.
It's one of Johnson's first acting roles ever and it
seems he was a gent even then as the cast and crew had only good things
to say about him. "To everybody’s surprise, he was wonderful," executive
producer Rick Berman says in a behind-the-scenes video. "We had never
really seen him do any acting other than playing The Rock."
"For the most part, it
basically comes down to entertainment. Same thing," Johnson says of the
gig in the video. Looks like he was always destined for greatness/being
disarmingly charming.
